Nurse (Aviation Medical Department)

🎯 About the Role

This role involves performing regulatory medical tests, administrative duties as per DGCA regulations, and providing clinical care within an airline's medical department. You will be instrumental in maintaining the health and well-being of employees and passengers, handling both routine and emergency situations.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🧪 Conduct breath alcohol and assist with psychoactive substance testing for crew and ground personnel.
• 🩺 Attend to OPD patients, perform initial assessments, and follow doctor's orders.
• 🚑 Provide first aid and attend to medical emergencies.
• ⚕️ Handle MEDIF passenger calls and gather medical information.
• 🧰 Assist in preparing and maintaining medical kits and supplies.
• 🗂️ Maintain medical records and DGCA-mandated documentation.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 GNM Diploma or BSc Degree in Nursing.
• 🇮🇳 Valid and active registration with the Nursing Council of India.
• 🏥 1-2 years of prior experience in clinical care or aviation medical services preferred.
• 🚑 Strong clinical assessment and first aid skills.
• 📜 Familiarity with DGCA regulations and medical documentation.
• 📞 Excellent verbal & written communication and organizational skills.
