🎯 About the Role

This role involves designing, building, and operating heavy mechanical infrastructure essential for pre-launch operations. You will ensure the launch pad is robust and capable of rapid turnaround between flights.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🚀 Take ownership of critical GSE hardware, designing and fabricating components like Strongbacks and Hold-Down Clamps.
• 🔧 Architect and maintain large-scale liquid oxygen and methane propellant farms, plus high-pressure pneumatic systems.
• ⚡ Drive automated turnaround capabilities using PLCs and automated fluid routing.
• crane Lead heavy lifting and vehicle integration operations in harsh field environments.
• 🚨 Troubleshoot complex mechanical and hydraulic failures during active countdowns.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 BS in Mechanical, Structural, or Heavy Systems Engineering with a passion for building large-scale hardware.
• 🔩 Deep, hands-on fabrication experience with tools like TIG welders and torque wrenches.
• 🛢️ Expertise in designing high-pressure fluid systems, cryogenic routing, and heavy hydraulic actuation.
• 🖥️ Uncompromising proficiency in 3D CAD (NX/SolidWorks) for large assemblies.
• ⛰️ Willingness to deploy to active launch sites and work extended hours.
