This internship involves building product history profiles, evaluating market and competitive positioning, and developing situational models to assess the impact of portfolio changes. You will also review code bodies, build reporting tools, and present findings to leadership.
๐ ๏ธ Key Responsibilities
- ๐ Compile multi-year product history into consolidated data sets.
- ๐ Research markets, assess competitive positioning, and summarize market trends.
- ๐ฎ Build scenario-based models to show the impact of portfolio changes.
- ๐ Review code bodies and specification listings for accuracy and completeness.
- ๐ป Develop Excel models, pivot tables, and dashboards for decision-making.
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Prepare summaries and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
โ Requirements & Skills
- ๐ Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, Economics, Construction Management, or a related field.
- ๐ก Strong Microsoft Excel skills required (pivot tables, lookups, building models).
- ๐งฎ Experience with Power BI, Power Query, or similar tools is a plus.
- ๐ค Ability to think in scenarios, structure assumptions, and test sensitivities.
- ๐ Coursework in data analysis, statistics, business analytics, market research, or financial modeling preferred.
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ๐งโ๐ป Self-directed and able to manage a project over a full semester.
