Social Media Intern (Content & Reels)

An edtech startup is looking for a proactive Social Media Intern to manage their online presence across multiple platforms. This role offers the opportunity to own content creation and strategy from start to finish.

🎯 About the Role

This remote internship involves planning and executing a monthly content calendar, creating short-form videos and reels, and writing engaging copy for parents. You will work directly with founders, track performance, and repurpose content across various formats.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📅 Plan monthly content calendars for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• 🎬 Shoot and edit short-form videos and reels with hooks, captions, and trending audio.
• ✍️ Write copy that resonates with parents.
• 📈 Track content performance and adjust plans based on data.
• 🔄 Repurpose content ideas across different formats.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 📸 Experience creating content for social media.
• 📱 Comfortable using CapCut, Canva, or similar editing tools.
• 💡 Strong sense for creating scroll-stopping content.
• ⏱️ Reliable and self-directed.
• 🎓 Experience with an education, parenting, or NRI-focused audience is a bonus.
