Fund Development Intern

Support a global development organization's fund development team by assisting with prospect research, data management, and donor engagement.

🎯 About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to learn about qualifying prospects and fundraising within a dynamic international development NGO. You will primarily support the team with research, data management in Salesforce, and outreach for donor engagement opportunities.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🔍 Research existing and potential donors, disseminating relevant information.
• 🗂️ Support knowledge management activities, including data entry and organization in Salesforce.
• 🤝 Support of conference research, prospecting, and evaluation.
• 🗣️ Participate and present in weekly prospect strategy sessions.
• 🚀 Ad hoc support on fundraising programs such as Corporate Partnerships and Legacy programs.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 💻 Salesforce experience preferred.
• 📈 Skilled in Google Suite, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• ✍️ Excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills.
• 📞 Excellent communication capabilities.
• 🌐 Experience conducting internet research.
• 🧠 Self-motivated, capable of multitasking, and a team player.
