🎯 About the Role
This unique remote program at Internmo is for self-taught learners, bootcamp graduates, students, or career transitioners to work on actual backend challenges and learn by doing. You will design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, manage databases, and optimize application performance alongside our core development team.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- ⚙️ Build APIs & Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and server-side logic to power web applications.
- 🗄️ Manage Databases: Set up and manage databases, write efficient queries, and ensure data security and integrity.
- 🐛 Debug & Optimize: Troubleshoot server-side issues, fix bugs, and optimize application performance and scalability.
- 🤝 Collaborate on Code: Use Git and GitHub to manage version control, push backend updates, and participate in code reviews with the team.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- ❤️ Passionate about backend development and eager to learn (no specific computer science degree required).
- 💻 Solid grasp of at least one server-side programming language (such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP).
- 🗃️ Familiar with the basics of relational (SQL) or non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
- ➕ Bonus points: If you have hands-on experience with backend frameworks (like Express, Django, or Spring Boot), API testing tools like Postman, or basic cloud deployment.
- 🤔 Curious, driven, and comfortable asking questions.
