🎯 About the Role

This construction/field internship provides an opportunity to develop and learn key roles within construction management, contributing to innovative design engineering from conceptualization to project support. You will gain exposure to various aspects of the construction process.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🏗️ Perform field engineering, operation planning, and cost control.
• 📐 Develop plans, schedule tasks, and track quantities.
• 📝 Maintain records of job progress, costs, and material usage.
• 🔍 Investigate problems and recommend solutions.
• 📊 Review plans and specifications for material requirements.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• ✈️ Ability to travel or relocate as needed.
• ☀️ Ability to work full-time during the summer (approx. May-August).
• 🎓 Currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 🏫 Currently enrolled at specified universities and a member of the Kiewit Scholars Program.
• 🚶 Ability to access all points of a construction site.
• 💪 Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and passion for safety.
• 🗣️ Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

💰 Compensation: $17.00/hr - $25.00/hr
