This externship provides an immersive experience in a small animal practice, offering a direct pathway to a new graduate veterinarian position. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians, participating in a wide range of medical and surgical procedures.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🩺 Gain broad clinical experience with mentorship from experienced veterinarians.
- 🔬 Observe and participate in medical and surgical procedures.
- 🤝 Engage in client communication and the diagnostic process.
- 🧠 Enhance diagnostic skills through interpreting various lab results and imaging.
- 🖐️ Fine-tune technical skills in a supportive, practical environment.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Active enrollment in a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program, graduating in 2027.
- 😊 Professional comportment with excellent interpersonal and positive attitude.
- 🌟 Commitment to the highest standard of veterinary medicine and ethics.
- 🐶 Compassionate, team-player attitude with respect for clients and pets.
