🎯 About the Role
This role involves supporting the estimating team in preparing bids for construction projects. You will gain practical experience in scope definition, cost analysis, and vendor coordination, contributing to the company's pursuit goals.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🔍 Aid in reviewing proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope.
- 📊 Assist in analyzing historical data for estimate preparation.
- 📐 Support estimate preparation by performing quantity takeoffs.
- 🗣️ Consult with clients, vendors, and individuals to resolve estimate issues.
- 💡 Assist with design review options and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- 🤝 Partner with the estimating team for project hand-off meetings.
- 💰 Research and recommend vendors and subcontractors for cost goals.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Currently enrolled in an Engineering, Construction Management, or similar program at an accredited technical college or university.
