🎯 About the Role

This position focuses on the engineering and design of overhead transmission lines, playing a crucial part in the electric grid's backbone. You will work on projects ranging from new construction to upgrades and maintenance, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ⚡ Support engineering responsibilities for overhead transmission line design, including PLS-CADD modeling and structure analysis.
• 🎨 Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ArcGIS for scaled drawings and mapping.
• ✍️ Implement engineering redlines and ensure drafting accuracy.
• 🧮 Conduct engineering calculations such as voltage drop and pole loading assessments.
• ✅ Ensure compliance with NESC, IEEE, ANSI, IBC, and construction standards.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 💻 Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, or similar CAD tools.
• 📐 Understanding of design codes like NESC, IEEE, ANSI, and IBC.
• ⚙️ Familiarity with engineering drafting and design principles.
• ✈️ Ability to travel up to 10%.
