Accounts Executive - Intern

🎯 About the Role

This internship focuses on essential accounting operations, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. You will gain practical experience with Zoho Books and contribute to accurate financial record-keeping.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📄 Create and share invoices with clients.
• ⚖️ Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• 🧾 Handle daily accounting activities: debit notes, credit notes, vouchers, invoices, journal entries.
• 🧮 Perform account reconciliations and monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• 💰 Follow up with clients for invoice collections.
• 📊 Prepare reports and analyze financial performance.
• 📈 Assist in preparing financial statements (Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet).
• 📝 Maintain accurate financial records and support account finalization.
• 📑 Assist in filing GST and TDS returns.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 💼 Prior internship or work experience in Accounts/Finance.
• 📚 Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (Mandatory).
• 🧾 Experience handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• 📈 Understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax provisions.
• 🧮 Knowledge of account reconciliation and financial reporting.
• 🔍 Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• 💻 Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• 📞 Strong hold on payment collections.
