🎯 About the Role
Join an open collaboration program designed for aspiring backend developers. You will gain hands-on experience designing and developing APIs, managing databases, debugging code, and participating in code reviews to build scalable backend systems.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🔧 Build APIs & Architecture (design, develop, maintain RESTful APIs).
- 🗄️ Manage Databases (setup, queries, data security, integrity).
- 🐞 Debug & Optimise server-side issues and application performance.
- 🔄 Collaborate on Code using Git and GitHub for version control and code reviews.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 💡 Passionate about backend development and eager to learn.
- 💻 Solid grasp of at least one server-side language (Node.js, Python, Java, PHP).
- 🗄️ Familiar with relational (SQL) or non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
- 🚀 Hands-on experience with backend frameworks (Express, Django, Spring Boot), API testing tools, or basic cloud deployment (Bonus).
- 🤔 Curious, driven, and comfortable asking questions.
