🎯 About the Role

This summer internship offers comprehensive exposure to the building envelope field, from site inspections to office-based project support. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, learning about exterior components like walls, windows, roofs, and waterproofing.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 👷 Participate in field visits and construction site inspections.
• 🏠 Observe different phases of exterior wall and building envelope construction.
• 📐 Learn how building envelope projects progress from design through construction.
• 📝 Assist with field reviews and documenting construction progress.
• 🔍 Learn to identify and document building envelope conditions and potential issues.
• 📊 Assist with building envelope research, inspections, and technical evaluations.
• ✍️ Help prepare clear and detailed project reports and documentation.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field (Architectural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• 🏗️ Interest in building envelope design, construction, inspection, and engineering.
• 📖 Basic understanding of building construction, architectural design, or structural concepts is a plus.
• 📐 Ability or willingness to learn to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• 🗣️ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 🧐 Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
