Pipeline and Terminal Maintenance Helper

🎯 About the Role

This role involves assisting with the upkeep of pipeline and terminal assets, supporting skilled trades, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. You will be involved in various hands-on tasks, from excavation safety to equipment operation.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🚧 Assist with safe excavation practices and locate underground utilities.
• 🤝 Act as a spotter during mechanical excavation of pipelines.
• 🔥 Act as a fire watch during hot work activities.
• 🔧 Provide welder helper duties and operate maintenance tools and equipment.
• 🖌️ Apply joint and pipe coating to pipeline assets.
• 🛠️ Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 📅 Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
• 🚗 CDL required or ability to obtain one.
• 🔧 Ability to safely use hand and power tools for maintenance and repairs.
• ☀️ Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• ✈️ Travel for extended periods (80% travel).
• 🚨 Willingness to respond to emergency situations 24/7.
• 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Ability to follow directions and work independently or in a team.
