Business Systems Analyst Intern

🎯 About the Role

This internship involves working between business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into system solutions. You will gain exposure to analyzing and improving business applications through requirement gathering, process documentation, and testing.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🤝 Communicate with stakeholders to understand business and system requirements.
• 📊 Study existing applications and workflows to identify improvement areas.
• 📝 Document functional requirements and expected system behavior.
• 🗺️ Prepare process maps, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
• 💻 Assist in converting business needs into clear technical specifications.
• 👨‍💻 Coordinate with developers and technical teams during implementation.
• ✅ Participate in system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• 🐞 Record bugs, system issues, and requirement gaps.
• 📊 Analyze system reports and identify inconsistencies.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🧠 Strong analytical and logical thinking.
• 📈 Basic understanding of business processes and software systems.
• 📊 Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
• ✍️ Understanding of requirement gathering and documentation.
• 🗄️ Basic knowledge of SQL and databases is preferred.
• 📐 Familiarity with flowcharts, process mapping, or UML is an advantage.
• ⚙️ Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• ⭐ Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.
• 🔧 Familiarity with tools such as Jira or similar project-management platforms is beneficial.
• 🗣️ Strong communication and documentation skills.
