Community Team Intern

This role supports the Community Management team, playing a central part in enhancing member experience, sales performance, and operational excellence across WeWork locations.

You will embody WeWork's core values, acting as the face of the company by creating a welcoming community environment, ensuring smooth operations, and driving the promotion of WeWork's service offerings.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🛠️ Create a welcoming and collaborative community environment amongst members through events and relationship-building.
• 🛠️ Ensure that your building is fully operational and processes are running smoothly.
• 🛠️ Drive growth and promotion of WeWork-provided service offerings.
• 🛠️ Be the first and last point of contact for your building, covering the front desk.
• 🛠️ Greet and check-in member guests, track walk-ins, and schedule tours.
• 🛠️ Manage WeWork Member check-ins and check-outs.
• 🛠️ Prepare and distribute promotional materials to guests/potential members.
• 🛠️ Assist with set-up and breakdown of events and prepare newsletters, posters, and reports.
• 🛠️ Assist with move-ins and move-outs, and building operations/maintenance.
• 🛠️ Mail and package responsibilities as needed.
• 🛠️ Identify issues for escalation to the Community Manager and manage member ticketing communications.
• 🛠️ Place orders and manage expenses for the location.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• ✅ College graduate is preferred, but not required.
• ✅ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• ✅ Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• ✅ Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.
• ✅ Passion for entrepreneurial communities.
• ✅ Understanding of WeWork’s mission and values.
• ✅ Proficient in basic computer skills.
• ✅ Customer service and/or sales experience is a plus.
