As a Business Analytics Intern, you will work closely with clients to understand critical issues and develop strategies for meaningful change. You’ll leverage analytical skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a commitment to excellence to dive deep into business challenges, data analytics, and business case development, driving project success.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🤝 Collaborate with project teams to collect, clean, and analyze data for strategic recommendations.
• 📊 Build dashboards and visualizations within BI platforms for informed decision-making.
• 🔍 Use tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL, Snowflake, and visualization platforms to uncover trends.
• 💼 Support in building business cases, financial models, and actionable insights for clients.
• 🏥 Work with healthcare clients to analyze data, solve problems, and develop efficient solutions.
• 🗣️ Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• 🌐 Work closely with other interns on a pro-bono consulting project for a non-profit.
• 🧩 Partner with Analysts, Consultants, and Managers to solve real-world business challenges.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Current undergraduate student entering third year of a 4-year or fourth year of a 5-year program (Spring 2028 Grad).
• 💯 Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (3.3 or higher preferred).
• ⚖️ Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• 🏙️ Ability to spend the summer in the downtown Chicago office daily.
• 📈 Strong interest in pursuing a career in business analytics.
• 📊 Solid foundation in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• 💡 Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends.
• 🤔 Ability to approach problem-solving with logical and analytical thinking.
• ⌨️ Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and SQL.
• 🐍 Knowledge of open-source Data Science applications such as R and Python (preferred).
• 🤝 Works effectively both independently and in group settings.
• 🏥 Prior internship or project experience involving healthcare data/analytics (preferred).
• 🏆 Relevant work experience and active involvement in university clubs (preferred).
