Become an integral part of the creative team, supporting editorial work from manuscript review to publication. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the quality of comic book projects.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📚 Review and evaluate comic book scripts and artwork submissions
- 💬 Provide constructive feedback and communicate editorial decisions
- 📅 Organize and maintain editorial calendars, ensuring deadlines are met
- ✉️ Manage communication between the editorial team and contributors
- 🔍 Conduct research on relevant topics to ensure accuracy
- 📖 Verify historical information to enhance storytelling authenticity
- ✍️ Assist in the editing process, proofreading and editing scripts
- 💡 Participate in creative discussions and brainstorming sessions
- 🤝 Coordinate with artists, writers, and other creative contributors
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
- 🗣️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ⚡ Ability to multitask and hungry to learn
- 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 🧑🤝🧑 Ability to work independently and as a team member
- 🤩 Passion for comic books and a keen understanding of the comic book industry
