Intern Machine Learning Engineer

Contribute to building and deploying ML-powered services for a healthcare data infrastructure company.

🎯 About the Role

This role focuses on software engineering, testing, and robust evaluation of ML services on a provider data platform. You will own features end-to-end, from stakeholder collaboration to deploying services on Google Cloud Platform.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🐍 Design, implement, and maintain ML-driven services and data workflows in Python.
• 🔧 Apply software engineering best practices, including clean code, testing, and CI/CD.
• 📊 Build and maintain evaluation pipelines and metrics to measure performance.
• ☁️ Deploy and operate ML services on GCP.
• 🔍 Troubleshoot and improve existing ML services for reliability and performance.
• 🤝 Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, operations, and data teams.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 💻 Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production services.
• ☁️ Hands-on experience deploying and running workloads on Google Cloud Platform.
• 🗄️ Expertise in writing and debugging SQL queries.
• 🛠️ Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals, including testing and version control.
• 📈 Experience evaluating ML systems by defining metrics and running experiments.
• 🧑‍💻 Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects.
