🎯 About the Role

This position involves providing essential frontline customer service within a busy library environment, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of services. You will be a key point of contact for students, staff, and the wider community, helping them utilize library resources effectively.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 👋 Provide frontline customer service in person, online, by phone, and email.
• ❓ Respond to a wide range of enquiries and resolve straightforward queries.
• 📚 Support users in accessing library spaces, services, and systems.
• 🗂️ Carry out administrative tasks and manage enquiries using digital systems.
• 🧹 Contribute to maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming library environment.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🤝 Experience in a customer-facing role.
• 🗣️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• 💻 Confidence using digital systems and learning new tools.
• 👥 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• 🎯 Good organisation skills and attention to detail.
