🎯 About the Role
This internship provides a foundation in customer service and financial transactions within a retail banking environment. You will learn essential teller duties and contribute to identifying customer needs for further assistance.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 💰 Process deposits, cash checks, and handle monetary instrument sales.
- 💵 Process foreign currency purchases and sales, and redeem savings bonds.
- 📄 File government-mandated reports for large cash transactions.
- 💳 Process loan payments and credit card cash advances.
- 🏦 Assist customers with safe deposit box access.
- 📈 Identify customer financial needs and make appropriate referrals.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Student entering sophomore or junior year, or high school equivalent.
- 😊 Outgoing personality with good customer service skills.
- ⚡ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- 💡 Self-starter with technical literacy.
- 🚶 Ability to stand for up to five hours at a time.
💰 Compensation: $20.25/hour
