Marketing & Communications Intern

Strengthen digital communications and gain hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and graphic design for an education advocacy organization.

🎯 About the Role

This internship is designed for a motivated individual eager to build real-world experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will play an active role in executing and strengthening the organization's digital communications strategy, contributing to meaningful work.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ✍️ Create engaging content for digital channels (social media, blog, newsletters).
• 💡 Pitch and execute creative social media campaigns.
• 🎨 Design on-brand graphics using Canva.
• 🎬 Capture and edit short-form video content.
• 📈 Assist with social media management and performance reporting.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Undergraduate or graduate student/recent graduate in communications, marketing, or related field.
• 🌟 Demonstrated interest in marketing, communications, or digital storytelling.
• 🗣️ Strong writing and editing skills.
• 🤳 Comfortable creating video content.
• 💻 Experience with Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite familiarity is a plus.
• 🗂️ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.

💰 Compensation: $20 per hour
