Machine Operator

Everlast Roofing, Inc. is looking for experienced Machine Operators to ensure efficient and accurate production of metal roofing and siding products.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery according to specifications. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ⚙️ Set up and operate machines according to specifications and instructions.
• ✅ Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, adjusting settings as necessary.
• 📦 Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications, identifying and reporting any defects.
• ⛑️ Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring safety devices and guards are in place.
• 📦 Maintain accurate records of production quantities and report any machine malfunctions.
• 🔧 Keep equipment clean and maintained, and assist with plant inventories.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 💡 Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures.
• 🤔 Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• 🎯 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• 🗣️ Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• 🚚 Forklift experience is preferred.
• 💪 Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials (25lbs +).
