Take ownership of end-to-end quality assurance for client-facing products in a fully remote environment, from test planning to automated suite development.
🎯 About the Role
This is a fully remote role working directly with the founder and engineering team on client-facing products. You'll own quality end-to-end: from writing test plans before a feature ships, to manual/exploratory/regression testing, to building automated suites. Test REST/GraphQL APIs directly — request/response validation, edge cases, auth flows.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📝 Write & execute test plans and test cases for new features.
- 🔄 Manual, exploratory, and regression testing across web apps.
- 🤖 Build and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, integration).
- 🔎 Test REST/GraphQL APIs directly — request/response validation, edge cases, auth flows.
- 🐞 Log, triage, and track defects with clear repro steps.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- ⭐ 2+ years hands-on QA (manual + automated).
- 🖱️ Working knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- 🔍 Comfort with Postman and reading JS/TS codebases (MERN stack).
- 🔧 Experience with Jira, Linear, or similar.
- ⚙️ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
