QA Intern - End-to-End Software Testing (Java Backend Focus)

🎯 About the Role

This 6-month paid, on-site internship in Basavangudi, Bangalore, involves testing backend services, frontend interfaces, APIs, and overall user journeys. You will identify bugs, validate functionality, and ensure all components work smoothly before release.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🔄 Test the entire software system end-to-end.
• ⚙️ Test backend Java services, business logic, and APIs.
• ✨ Review and test user interfaces for responsiveness and usability.
• 🐛 Identify, reproduce, and document bugs and performance issues.
• 📝 Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
• 🤝 Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams.
• ✅ Ensure final software meets client requirements and quality standards.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 🔧 Basic understanding of software development and QA methodologies.
• 💻 Familiarity with backend systems (preferably Java-based) and API testing.
• 📦 Understanding of JSON, REST APIs, and database basics.
• 🧐 Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• 🗣️ Ability to communicate clearly and document findings thoroughly.
• 🧪 Knowledge of testing methods (functional, regression, integration, automation, manual).
• ⭐ Preferred: Experience with API testing tools (Postman/Swagger), basic SQL, exposure to Java testing tools (JUnit/REST Assured).
