Create, rig, and prepare detailed 3D characters for integration into games, focusing on modeling, anatomy, and game-ready asset creation.

🎯 About the Role

This remote, 3-month internship at GameGenesis allows you to build characters from modeling and topology to texturing, rigging, and skinning. You will gain practical experience in professional character art workflows for real game projects.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🚶 Create high-quality 3D characters for games and real-time environments.
• 🦴 Model characters with a strong understanding of anatomy and bone structure.
• 🔗 Build character skeletons and create bone structures and rigs.
• 🖌️ Perform retopology, UV unwrapping, and texturing.
• ⚙️ Rig and skin characters for smooth deformation.
• 🎮 Prepare characters for integration into Unity or Unreal Engine.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 💻 Hands-on experience with Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
• 🧑‍⚕️ Solid understanding of human anatomy and skeletal structure.
• 📐 Understands character topology and edge flow for deformation.
• 🔗 Knowledge of rigging, skinning, weight painting, and bone hierarchy.
• 💡 Understands UV mapping and basic PBR texturing workflows.
• 🎯 Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

📩 How to Apply
