As a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the platform by monitoring security alerts, analyzing threats and vulnerabilities, and investigating incidents. You will also contribute to security control reviews and process improvements, gaining valuable experience in a dynamic AI-driven environment. This role provides high ownership and impact in protecting user data and systems.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π¨ Review security alerts, logs, and vulnerability findings.
- π΅οΈ Help triage suspicious activity and document investigation evidence.
- π‘οΈ Support vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
- π Assist with security controls, access reviews, and policy documentation.
- π¬ Research emerging threats and communicate relevant findings.
- π Improve security playbooks, checklists, and operational metrics.
β Requirements & Skills
- π Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- π Understanding of networking, operating systems, and common security concepts.
- π Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- π High standards for ethics, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- π Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- π» Experience with SIEM, vulnerability scanning, endpoint security, or cloud platforms (preferred).
- π Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, or shell scripting (preferred).
