As a Data Scientist Intern, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and AI teams to develop data-driven insights and models. You'll play a key role in understanding user behavior and product performance, directly impacting the evolution of an expert-guided job search platform. This position promises high ownership and impact at the intersection of AI, agents, and product.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π Analyze job seeker behavior, job data, and product performance.
- π Define metrics and design experiments for new features.
- ποΈ Build analytical models, dashboards, and reporting workflows.
- π Explore improvements for recommendations, search relevance, and engagement.
- π£οΈ Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- π€ Collaborate in person with product, engineering, and AI teams.
β Requirements & Skills
- π Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- π Experience with Python and SQL.
- π§ Understanding of statistics, experimentation, and data analysis.
- π‘ Ability to translate ambiguous questions into structured analysis.
- π£οΈ Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, CA.
- π€ Experience with machine learning, NLP, recommendation systems, or experimentation (preferred).
- πΌοΈ Familiarity with pandas, scikit-learn, notebooks, or data visualization tools (preferred).
