π― About the Role
As a Remote AI Engineer Intern, you will contribute to building and refining the core intelligence of an AI job search agent. You'll develop and evaluate LLM- and machine-learning-powered product features, focusing on improving the quality, latency, reliability, and cost of AI-driven experiences.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π€ Build and evaluate LLM- and machine-learning-powered product features.
- π Develop data pipelines and integrations for AI systems.
- π§ͺ Experiment with prompting, retrieval, ranking, embeddings, and model evaluation.
- β‘ Improve the quality, latency, reliability, and cost of AI-powered experiences.
- π Create evaluation datasets and investigate model behavior.
- π Document experiments and communicate technical findings in a distributed environment.
β Requirements & Skills
- π Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- π Strong Python programming skills.
- π§ Understanding of machine learning, NLP, or information retrieval fundamentals.
- π Familiarity with APIs, data processing, and software development practices.
- π Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
- π¬ Experience with LLM applications, RAG, embeddings, or model evaluation (preferred).
- π» Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or cloud AI services (preferred).
- π οΈ Experience building end-to-end AI prototypes (preferred).
- π Knowledge of recommendation systems, search, or ranking (preferred).
- π¬ Previous AI research, internship, or substantial personal project experience (preferred).
