Design Intern (Graphic Design)

My Indian Things is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Intern to join their team and work on real brand, marketing, and product design projects.

🎯 About the Role

This is a hands-on opportunity to build a strong portfolio by collaborating closely with the creative team on digital and print media projects. You will focus on theme building, catalogues, and developing engaging designs.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🎨 Focus on theme building, catalogues, digital media, and print media design.
• 🖼️ Develop layouts and visuals with strong composition and hierarchy.
• 💡 Translate briefs and concepts into polished visuals.
• 🖨️ Design and prepare print-ready visual art and other print media.
• ⭐ Maintain brand consistency across all design deliverables.
• 🔄 Incorporate feedback and iterate designs to meet quality and deadlines.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎨 Strong foundation in graphic design principles and aesthetics.
• 🛠️ Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Figma).
• 🤔 Solid visualization skills to develop concepts from briefs.
• 📐 Strong composition skills (layout, typography, colour, visual balance).
• 📄 Knowledge of print media development and preparing print-ready files.
• ✨ Good eye for detail, creativity, and willingness to learn.
• 🎓 Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field (preferred).
• 📱 Basic understanding of social media and digital design trends (preferred).
