As a Video Editor Intern, you'll work closely with our creative team to edit short-form and long-form content for creators and brands. You'll be responsible for creating engaging edits, adding motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and ensuring every video is optimized for audience retention. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your portfolio while working on real client projects.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🎬 Edit engaging short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok)
- 🎥 Edit long-form YouTube videos and podcasts when required
- ✨ Add smooth transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects
- ✍️ Create aesthetic, animated captions/subtitles
- 🎶 Use sound design effectively with background music and SFX
- 🎨 Perform basic color correction and color grading
- ⏱️ Deliver edits within agreed timelines (typically 24–48 hours)
- 🔄 Incorporate feedback and revisions professionally
- 📈 Stay updated with current editing trends and social media formats
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 💻 Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve (or CapCut Pro/Alight Motion for mobile editors)
- 🔊 Good understanding of sound design, background music, and SFX
- 🌈 Basic knowledge of color correction and color grading
- 🌟 Strong retention-based editing techniques
- 🚀 Excellent pacing, jump cuts, transitions, and hooks
- 💡 Ability to create aesthetic and animated captions/subtitles
- 📚 Strong storytelling skills to make content engaging
- 📈 Understanding of social media content trends
