Accounting Intern

Support the accounting department with essential tasks including financial reporting, expense reimbursements, and procurement processes.

🎯 About the Role

This role involves assisting with month-end and quarter-end reporting, managing Concur expense reimbursements, overseeing Zycus Procurement-to-Pay processes, and handling check distributions. The intern will gain practical experience in various accounting functions.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ✅ Prepare and execute vendor invoices via SAP and Zycus Merlin.
• 🧾 Assist as Concur Administrator, reviewing and approving expense reimbursements.
• 📊 Prepare quarterly Concur Invoice journal entries.
• 📈 Assist with month-end and quarter-end reports.
• 📧 Assist Accounts Payable Manager with payment run items and check distribution.
• 📄 Prepare and execute Pending Submission reports in Zycus.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Sophomore or higher standing pursuing a degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
• 💻 Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ⏱️ Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints.
• 🤝 Interpersonal and organizational skills, detail-oriented, and strong communication abilities.

💰 Compensation: $18/hr-$20/hr
