Software Engineer Intern

This internship offers hands-on experience in software engineering within Principal's Technology Engineering department. You will work on real projects, collaborating with team members and receiving guidance from a dedicated leader and mentor, contributing to the development of financial tools that enhance customer financial security.

• 💻 Deliver customer-centric solutions focusing on capabilities, security, scalability, and performance.
• 🤝 Collaborate with scrum teams to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• 💡 Solve complex problems to enhance customer experience.
• 🔧 Partner with architecture and stakeholders on application design.
• 📚 Assist in improving operations, documenting solutions, and ensuring software security.
• ✅ Develop maintainable, high-quality software by integrating automation tests.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Currently pursuing or completed an undergraduate degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math-related field.
• 🏆 Involvement in student organizations or prior internship experience.
• 🗣️ Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a strong work ethic.
• 💡 Passion for technology, technical curiosity, and critical thinking skills.
• 🌟 Leadership experience, previous IT internship, or proven continuous learning are beneficial.
• 💻 Technical experience with Java, Python, React, JavaScript, Git, AWS, data visualization, automation tooling, DevOps, Agile methodologies, or AI is a plus.

💰 Compensation: $28 - $30 / hour
