This paid, full-time Co-Op program offers extended immersion in real-world hardware development and testing. You will be given ownership of a project tailored to your skills and directly contribute to the success of novel aircraft development.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 💡 Be given ownership of a project tailored to your start date, duration, and location.
• 🚀 Directly contribute to the success of novel aircraft development.
• 🤝 Be partnered with a senior engineer as mentor and guide.
• 🔌 Design circuit boards for prototype flight computers.
• ⚡ Design, simulate, and verify high voltage power electronics.
• ✅ Bring-up and validate new Avionics systems with a senior engineer.
• 🔧 Build a test rack for automated test coverage of flight critical sub-systems.
• 📈 Run a HALT campaign to ensure circuit board reliability.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Completed at least the 2nd year of a relevant degree program (typically Electrical Engineering).
• 🔧 Strong technical fundamentals.
• ⚙️ Been part of an engineering team/club.
• 🖱️ Experience with electrical design software and tools (e.g., Altium, KiCAD, oscilloscope).
• 🏆 Demonstrated history of showing ownership and delivering exceptional results.
• 🤝 Record of working hard, trustworthiness, and kindness.

💰 Compensation: $38 - $73 an hour
