This role involves working with IT and security teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security practices, and support secure system operations, offering real-world project experience.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🛡️ Assist in monitoring systems and networks for security threats
- 🔍 Support vulnerability assessment and basic penetration testing
- ⚙️ Help implement security policies, controls, and best practices
- 📊 Analyze security logs and incident reports
- 🌐 Assist in securing web applications and APIs
- 📄 Support awareness documentation and security reporting
- ☁️ Work on basic cloud and data security practices
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🧠 Basic understanding of Cyber Security fundamentals
- 🔌 Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- 🚨 Familiarity with common threats, malware, and attacks
- 🖥️ Basic understanding of Linux/Windows systems
- 🌟 Preferred: Knowledge of tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark; Basic Cloud Security knowledge; SIEM concepts; scripting (Python/Bash); Git/GitHub basics
