This role involves editing footage, adding visual and audio elements, and preparing videos for various platforms. You will work closely with senior editors and content strategists.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🎬 Edit long-form or short-form video content from raw footage
- 🎵 Perform basic audio cleanup, balancing, and sync multi-track audio
- ✨ Apply smooth transitions, lower thirds, title graphics, and basic motion elements
- 🌈 Perform basic color balancing and exposure adjustments
- 📤 Export videos in appropriate formats for social media and web
- 📝 Implement creative notes and feedback from stakeholders
- 🗄️ Maintain clean project file architecture and manage media
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 📅 6 months to 1 year of professional or agency/freelance video editing experience
- 🎬 Portfolio showcasing past video edits
- 💻 Hands-on experience with NLE software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro)
- 💡 Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or similar for titles and callouts
- ⏱️ Solid understanding of video timing, rhythm, and narrative flow
- 🗣️ Ability to manage tight deadlines and communicate project updates clearly
