🎯 About the Role
This role involves supporting the legal team with drafting and reviewing various legal documents for a legal and financial consultation platform. You will conduct legal research, prepare standardized templates, and ensure document alignment with laws and guidelines.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📝 Assist with drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, notices, and affidavits
- 🔬 Conduct basic legal research and summarize case laws and statutes
- 📄 Prepare standardized templates for platform use
- 📂 Organize and maintain digital and physical legal records
- 🤝 Coordinate with supervising lawyers on client-related documentation
- 💡 Contribute to the improvement of internal drafting processes and checklists
✅ Requirements & Skills
- ⚖️ Strong foundational knowledge of contract law, civil procedure, and related legal principles
- ✍️ Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation
- 🔍 Competence in legal research using online databases and statutory resources
- 💬 Excellent written communication skills in English
- 🧐 Ability to review documents carefully, identify inconsistencies or risks
- 🗓️ Strong organizational and time-management skills
- 💻 Comfort with using technology tools for document management and collaboration
- 🎓 Currently pursuing or recently completed a law degree (LL.B or equivalent)
