Contribute to critical risk and safety studies for diverse projects under expert supervision, gaining practical experience in the marine and offshore industries.
π― About the Role
This internship involves hands-on experience and formal training in onshore, offshore, and marine risk and safety. You will perform assignments related to the company's business, policies, and procedures, directly supervised by experienced engineers.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π Perform and support risk and safety studies for various projects.
- π Analyze data using specialized software with senior engineer guidance.
- π‘ Assist in developing proposed solutions for clients.
- βοΈ Prepare technically accurate responses to client emails.
- π Draft reports detailing study results for senior review.
- ποΈ Prepare weekly reports and requests for invoices.
- π Participate in training seminars and workshops.
β Requirements & Skills
- π Currently pursuing a Bachelorβs degree in an appropriate technical discipline (Chemical Engineering preferred).
- βοΈ Knowledge of related technical disciplines, particularly process flow.
- π₯ Interest in Risk and Safety, and process facilities.
- π Ability to identify, analyze, and propose solutions to problems.
- π£οΈ Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- π₯ Ability to work well with others.
- π Familiarity with ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System.
