This role involves working independently on diverse client projects, requiring you to interpret briefs and deliver production-ready outcomes with minimal supervision. You will leverage your engineering maturity to make critical design and manufacturing decisions across various industries.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Perform CAD modelling in SolidWorks and Fusion 360.
- Design for manufacturing across various processes like injection moulding and CNC machining.
- Conduct material research and selection.
- Create production-ready technical documentation.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners on design feasibility.
- Support prototyping and NPD projects.
- Review test data and failure reports for design improvements.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in product design or development.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360, including surface modelling.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Material selection experience applied to real production projects.
- Ability to independently produce production-ready engineering drawings.
