The Investment Banking Intern will support deal execution and advisory projects by assisting in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and preparation of investor materials. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting industry and company research, supporting due diligence activities, and helping prepare pitch decks, investment notes, and transaction documentation.
๐ ๏ธ Key Responsibilities
- ๐ Conduct industry and company research.
- ๐ Support due diligence activities.
- ๐ Help prepare pitch decks, investment notes, and transaction documentation.
- ๐ค Collaborate with team members to analyze capital-raising opportunities, IPO-related workstreams, and other strategic transactions.
โ Requirements & Skills
- ๐ง Strong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret complex financial and market data.
- ๐งฎ Proficiency in Financial Modeling and valuation techniques using spreadsheets and relevant tools.
- ๐๏ธ Foundational knowledge of Finance and Investments, including capital markets and corporate finance concepts.
- ๐ Exposure to Due Diligence processes, including data gathering, verification, and documentation support.
- ๐ Pursuing or having completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- โ๏ธ High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization in deliverables and documentation.
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analysis clearly.
- ๐ป Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with financial databases is an advantage.
- ๐ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- ๐ Interest in investment banking, capital markets, and advisory services; prior internships or projects in related areas are a plus.
- ๐ Candidates pursuing CA/CFA/ACCA will be preferred.
