🎯 About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Exhibition Sales & Business Development Lead to take ownership of the sales and business development function for an upcoming international exhibition. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the B2B exhibitions and events business, has strong business development instincts, and can build a sales pipeline, develop new opportunities and convert relationships into exhibitors, sponsors and commercial partners.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🏆 Own the exhibition's sales strategy, pipeline and revenue targets.
- 💡 Identify and develop new exhibitor, sponsor and commercial partnership opportunities.
- 📈 Build and manage a strong prospect pipeline across relevant industries and markets.
- 🔍 Research and identify new sectors, brands and businesses that could participate in the exhibition.
- 🤝 Personally lead prospecting, meetings, presentations, negotiations and closures.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 💼 5–10 years of experience in exhibition sales, B2B events, sponsorship sales, media sales or a related commercial role.
- 🚀 Demonstrated experience in selling exhibition space, sponsorships, partnerships or other B2B commercial opportunities.
- 🌟 A strong network of potential exhibitors, sponsors and industry decision-makers will be a significant advantage.
- 🎯 Proven ability to independently build a pipeline and close business.
- 🗣️ Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
