Contribute to the design, build, and testing of satellite hardware and software in a rapidly growing space technology company.
🎯 About the Role
This twelve-week internship offers the chance to work on challenging projects within an interdisciplinary team. You will develop assembly and integration test plans, learn to use various test equipment, and coordinate test efforts for satellite hardware.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- ✅ Design, build, and test satellite hardware and software.
- ✅ Develop assembly and integration test plans and procedures.
- ✅ Operate test equipment like thermal chambers and oscilloscopes.
- ✅ Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- ✅ Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical degree).
- ✅ Passion for hardware development and hands-on experience.
- ✅ Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
- ✅ Strong communication skills.
- ✅ Familiarity with spacecraft systems and operation.
- ✅ Must be onsite 5 days a week.
💰 Compensation: $29 per hour
📍 Location: Northern California, USA
