Oversee the definition, design, and execution of propulsion component and system level tests.
🎯 About the Role
As a Propulsion Test Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for defining test plans, designing and building test equipment, and conducting testing for Astranis propulsion systems. You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure requirements are met while considering cost and schedule.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🔧 Design, build, test, and qualify tests and test equipment for propulsion systems.
- 📊 Perform component and system level design, analysis, and trade studies for test equipment.
- 📜 Develop and execute component and system level test plans.
- 🤝 Work closely with other teams to complete tasks.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Working towards a degree in aerospace, mechanical, or other applicable engineering discipline.
- 🛠️ Passion for testing, including hands-on design and development.
- 💡 Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
- ✅ Compulsion to fix anything that's broken.
- ⭐ Bonus: Experience building or testing liquid propulsion systems.
💰 Compensation: $29.00 USD
