🎯 About the Role
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will develop systems that ingest, store, and query massive streams of telemetry data from our satellite fleet. Your work will provide mission operators with critical visibility to maintain satellite health and operations.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📡 Design and build monitoring rules and anomaly detection for telemetry data.
- 🏗️ Contribute to the data platform by building client libraries, data pipelines, and APIs.
- 🤝 Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to define monitoring requirements.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 💻 Strong proficiency in Python.
- 🗄️ Experience with databases (Postgres, time-series databases, etc.).
- 🌐 Experience with API design (REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers).
- ⭐ Bonus: Experience with time-series data or telemetry systems.
💰 Compensation: $29.00 USD
