π― About the Role
As a Back End Engineering Intern, you will work with the core backend team to develop micro-services and database systems for an IoT transaction platform used across national distribution campaigns, electric vehicle charging, and more. This role offers the chance to build systems that impact millions.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- π» Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software for user-facing features.
- π Create APIs and frameworks that support innovative applications on Beep's platform.
- π€ Liaising with banks, payment gateways, and other entities for integration.
- π₯ Work with other engineers and product managers to build products.
- β Raise the bar by reviewing each other's code and sharing knowledge.
β Requirements & Skills
- π Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- π Experience with software development with Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
- ποΈ Prior experience working with and managing Relational (preferably PostgreSQL) databases.
- βοΈ Familiarity with DevOps and Cloud deployment tools such as Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP is a plus.
- β³ Able to commit a minimum of 4 months on a full-time basis.
