This co-op position involves applying mechanical expertise to implement novel solutions for customer challenges, working closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive system design. Responsibilities focus on testing, introducing new products into production, and supporting fielded systems.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• ✏️ Design parts and assemblies according to system requirements.
• 📄 Transform conceptual solutions into robust product designs.
• 💻 Design and release components and systems using SolidWorks.
• 📚 Develop production and support documentation.
• 🏭 Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of systems.
• 🔬 Perform test and verification of prototype systems.
• 🖨️ Bring prototype solutions to life with rapid prototyping tools.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• 🔧 Experience with Solidworks.
• 🛠️ Experience prototyping and using tools such as laser cutters, 3D printers, mills, etc.
• 🗣️ Good written and verbal communication skills.
• 💡 Must be curious, eager, open to learning, and independent.
• ⚙️ Ability to spec motors, sensors, and off-the-shelf parts.
