Co-op Student

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op student to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in audit and assurance engagements across various industries.

🎯 About the Role

You’ll work closely with senior team members to support client engagements and develop key technical and professional skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is specifically available for UVM GSB students.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🏛️ Assist in performing audits, reviews, and compilations for clients.
• 📝 Prepare working papers and document audit and assurance procedures.
• 🧮 Perform account reconciliations and analytical procedures.
• 🔍 Conduct research on accounting and tax issues.
• 🗣️ Assist in drafting client correspondence.
• 🤝 Participate in client meetings and site visits, as needed.
• 📂 Maintain organized and accurate client files and documentation.
• 🏆 Collaborate with team members to meet engagement deadlines.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Enrolled in a Bachelor of Accounting program (3rd or 4th year preferred).
• 🏅 Intention to pursue CPA designation is a strong asset.
• 📚 Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals.
• 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• 🗣️ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 🎯 Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• 💪 Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• ⏰ Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
