Engineering Co-Op

Provide technical support and assist with projects from scope definition through implementation within the Engineering department.

🎯 About the Role

This Engineering Co-Op position offers the chance to balance the requirements of Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Quality in a cost-effective manner. You will assist the Engineering department with projects, providing internal customer technical support and contributing to process and design improvements.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🔧 Provide internal customer technical support.
• 🔧 Provide part manufacturability technical support.
• 🔧 Assist with the implementation of process and design improvements.
• 🔧 Partner with other business segments (sales, marketing, quality, finance, etc.).
• 🔧 Understand customer needs and the core business markets served.
• 🔧 Support and comply with the company’s Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🔩 Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Packaging, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 🔩 Ability to use Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• 🔩 Ability to work with CAD and design software.
• 🔩 Solid mechanical aptitude and experience with simple electro-mechanical systems.
• 🔩 Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 🔩 Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
• 🔩 Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
• 🔩 Good attention to detail.
• 🔩 Strong problem-solving skills.
