🎯 About the Role
This part-time legal internship offers exposure to various aspects of non-profit legal work, including compliance, contract review, and litigation. You'll work under the supervision of licensed attorneys, contributing to impactful environmental justice initiatives.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- ⚖️ Assist with legal research and analysis.
- 📄 Support contract review and compliance tasks.
- 🧑⚖️ Gain exposure to litigation support.
- ✍️ Draft legal documents and memos.
- 🤝 Collaborate with attorneys on various projects.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Currently enrolled as a 2L or 3L in law school.
- 📚 Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
- 💻 Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw).
- 🚀 Strong work ethic and initiative.
- 🧠 Ability to work independently and collegially.
- 🌱 Interest in public interest law and social justice.
💰 Compensation: $36.86 per hour
⏳ Duration: 12 weeks
📍 Location: Remote (within the U.S.) or San Francisco, CA / Washington, DC
