Finance Intern

🎯 About the Role

This part-time internship is ideal for penultimate or final-year finance or accounting students from NUS or NTU. You will support the review and monitoring of AP invoice processing quality, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role offers exposure to broader AP support, journal preparation, SOX compliance, and project work, with potential for progression into a graduate role.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🔍 Assist in reviewing processed invoices for accuracy.
• 📝 Document and report exceptions or quality issues.
• 📊 Support KPI reporting on invoice volumes and error rates.
• 💰 Provide assistance with invoice entry and data validation.
• ⚙️ Support documentation of internal processes and SOX compliance activities.
• 📚 Help prepare documentation for journal entries and assist with reconciliations.
• 💡 Participate in finance improvement initiatives or systems-related projects.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline at NUS or NTU.
• ✨ Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
• 🗣️ Strong communication and organisation skills.
• 💻 Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
• ✅ Deadline-focused, reliable, accurate, and able to work under pressure.
• 🤝 Able to work effectively in a team environment and assimilate new information quickly.
